DELTA 2023: Clever Igere Congratulates Oborevwori, Onowakpo, Pondi, Alapala, Peres Over Election Victory, Describes Their Victory As A New Dawn For All Deltans

A foremost Youth Leader in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, Distinguished Comrade Clever Igere, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor-Elect Of Delta State, Hon. Joel Onowakpo Thomas, Senator-Elect Delta South Senatorial District, Rt. Hon. Julius Pondi, Member Representing Burutu Federal Constituency and Member-Elect Federal House Of Representatives, Hon. Alapala Anthony Ebitonmo, Member-Elect Delta State House Of Assembly, Burutu North and Hon. Peres Oloye, Member-Elect Delta State House Of Assembly, Burutu South, on their victory in the just-concluded gubernatorial and State House of Assembly polls in the state.
Comrade Igere sent his congratulations via a press release signed by him in the early hours of today the 21st March, 2023. A copy of which was sent to Coastal Times Newspaper.
Where he expressed confidence in Oborevwori, Onowakpo, Pondi, Alapala and Peres. Stating that they have the needed abilities to provide good governance and render efficient services to the people of Delta State.
He went further to assert that their victory was a sign that the people of the State still believes in Democracy, as it was displayed during the elections, where the people’s votes counted.
The Ogulagha born Youth Leader, also commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for ensuring a smooth, free, fair and credible electoral process in the State. And charged the winners of the elections to at all times, prioritize the overall interest of Deltans above their personal interests. Urging them to operate a open door policy to their people, regardless of political affiliations. Stating that, that is the only way they will be able to make meaningful impacts in the lives of the people.
