DELTA 2023: Chief Mulade Set To Flag-Off Bold Movement For Ijaw Candidacy

A Traditional Chief and Prominent political navigator in Delta State, High Chief Mulade Sheriff has concluded plans to flag off an advocacy for Ijaw ethnic group to produce the next governor of Delta state.

In a statement to news men in Asaba disclosed that Mulade Sheriff who initiated the call for Ijaws to produce the next governor of the state since 2017 appealed to other ethnic groups to support the Ijaws as a means of upholding the tenets of fairness and equity in the state politics.

he further posited that the quests for good governance and the need to support equitable rotation of power has necessitated the advocacy tagged ‘The Bold Movement.

Mulade also called on Ijaws who currently nurse the 2023 Governorship ambition to reach out to other ethnic groups for support emphasizing that there is need to strategize in readiness of a plot for Ijaws to succeed in the political landscape.

Mulade was an aspirant for the Delta State House of Assembly (DTHA) in 2019 he also joined the good people of Warri South West and beyond to support Ijaws in the State to achieve this goal

He has extended his appeal to other ethnic groups to give the Ijaws in Delta as the second largest ethnic group a shot of strong advocacy to clinch the Governorship ticket in their various political parties.

He has presented a document tagged::-‘Bold Movement 2023, An Advocacy For Delta Ijaw Governorship 2023’._

According to the document, Mulade was quoted as _”the man behind the Bold Movement, the Authentic Pilot of the Ijaws of Delta South wake up call to occupy Government House, Asaba in 2023.
