Renowned Nigerian based human rights activist, Amb. John Dekawei has described Chief Kestin Pondi, the Ibebenemowei of oil rich Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State as a mega star.
Reports has it that the renowned Nigerian philanthropist, Amb. John Dekawei made the assertion in Lagos while celebrating the birth anniversary of Chief Kestin Pondi, the Ibebenemowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom while playing host to some Niger Delta youths in Lagos.
Dekawei said triple Chief Kestin Pondi is a rare gift to Niger Delta, Ijaw nation, Delta State and the World at large, stressing that his love for the growth and development of the region has over time remained penchant.
According to him, he said the likes of Kestin Pondi remains a rare breed of human specie in the Niger Delta region, adding that his philantropic gestures is enough to qualify him as an angel in human form, opining that he has positively changed the destinies of many across the region.
He maintained that Chief Kestin Pondi had personally touched and transformed the lives of many across the country, maintaining that he is truly a force to reckon with, adding that he has truly paid his dues in the Niger Delta struggle for emancipation.
Meanwhile, Amb. John Dekawei is the President general of the revered Niger Delta Socio Cultural Group under the aegis of Delta Ijaw Youth Movement for Political Advancement (DIYMPA).
It would be recalled that Amb. John Dekawei is also the chairman cum founder of the John Dekawei Foundation (JDF), a Non Governmental Organisation he has used in transforming the lives of many across the globe.
