Egbema Has Not Crowned New king, Disregard The Activities Of Impostors—IPDI

BENIN__________The Izon foremost group, the Ijaw People’s Development Initiative, IPDI, has rejected one Mr. Henry Binidodoagha who allegedly imposed himself as a purported King in Egbema Kingdom in Edo State.

The ugly development was said to had occurred in the previous week, where the purported ex-millitant leader, Binidodoagha imposed and crowned himself as king in Egbema in Edo State.

The group’s acting national secretary Comrade Emma Ken said in a press release that the Izons in Egbema Kingdom in Edo State had not appointed nor crowned Binidodoagha as king in Egbema Kingdom and that the public should disregard the purported activities of the said Binidodoagha.

The group stated that the kingdom had not even begun the process of selection of king in Egbema Kingdom as it was yet to organized the funeral rites of her late king in the kingdom.

IPDI added that Egbema Kingdom would not crowd another king when her late king had not been buried as it was a taboo in the traditional institution of Izon nation.

The group assured the public that he would soon be arrested and made to face the law for his naferrous activities.

They said the Izon traditional institution in Egbema was too sacred for an individual to imposed himself as King in Egbema Kingdom in Edo State.

IPDI asserted that the activities of Binidodoagha was meant to disgrace and divide Egbema Kingdom for selfish gains, and that was unacceptable.

The group called for calm and assured the public that at due times the kingdom would follow the due process in the kingdom to elect her king peacefully.
