The President of Urhobo Youth Association ( UYA ), Delta State Chapter, Comrade Gometi O. Crested. Has joined his voice with several sons and daughters of Urhobo Nation, in Congratulating the wife of Chief Doc, Luckys Okparanyote, the Anama of Agbon Kingdom (Patron to the Urhobo Youth Association, Delta State Chapter), Deaconess Angela Okparanyote, as she celebrates her 50th birth anniversary.

The Youths President expressed his felicitations, via a statement signed by him. A copy of which was sent to Coastal Times, on Thursday the 12th, November, 2020.

Comrade Gometi described Deaconess Angela, as a virtuous and humble woman and a custodian of moral heritage.

Comrade Crested charged the younger generation, to emulate the uniqueness of Deaconess Angela. In order to ensure a smooth transition of moral values.

The statement reads:

“It’s a fact that many individuals and families no more pay attention to moral values in this generation. And this has greatly compromised the quality of life in the larger society.

We will therefore not stop in celebrate those who got it right, in the midst of others that have neglected our rich culture and embraced ungodly and immorality, as the ideal ways of life in the name of civilization.

The qualities we are celebrating in our mother today, are clearly stated in the Bible book of Proverbs 31:10 to the end”.

“Our fathers also acknowledged the fact that the lengths a man will go in life, is greatly influenced by the Woman beside him. When they said “behind every successful man there’s a woman”. And not just a woman, but a virtuous woman.

I want to therefore, used this opportunity, to call on every woman, especially the younger ones. To emulate these unique characters of our Mother. In order to be able to build homes that are true reflection of God’s original purpose for mankind.

It is on this premise and many others, I say happy birthday to our mother and role model, Deaconess Angela Okparanypte.

Mummy, it is my earnest prayer that, God Almighty continue to guide and provide for you and your entire household. I pray that, the Good Lord continue to shower his unlimited blessings upon you. And endow you with longevity in Jesus name, Amen”.

Once again, Congratulations to You mummy.

Signed:

Comrade Gometi O. Crested,

President Urhobo Youth Association, Delta State Chapter.
