Coastal News

ASABA_________The Ijaw People’s Development initiative, IPDI, has insisted that Nigeria Amalgamation treaty has expired since 2014 and that except president Buhari restructure Nigeria, Niger Delta would hoist her flag and breakout peaceful.

This was contained in a press release by its National president comrade Ozobo Austin which a copy was made available at press time.

The group said president Muhammadu Buhari must summoned courage to call a national conference for stakeholders to decided whether to renew the expired amalgamation agreement or not.

IPDI added that Nigeria risked breakup, except the country was restructured without further delay and that Niger Delta can’t longer be part of a false marriage that was made to benefit a section of the country.

Ozobo averred that the amalgamation agreement was meant to expire 100years and that the treaty expired since 2014.

The group further asserted that Niger Delta would break out if Nigeria is not restructured.
