Urhobo Youths Back Former Minister Gbagi, Describes Accusations As Politically Motivated

Group in Delta State, Urhobo Progressive Agenda, UPA on Wednesday, warned activist and blackmailers to stop harassing the Ex-Nigerian Minister, Chief Kenneth Gbagi.

The leader of the group, Comrade Onoriode Felix gave the warning in Ughelli Delta state in a meeting with executive members of the group.

The reaction came following accusations that Chief Gbagi, who is currently nursing 2023 governorship ambition in Delta State arrested four of his staff working in Signatious Hotel, Warri after they were stripped naked.

The group describe the accusations as false, baseless and cheap political weapon in the hands of those who seek political powers through back door.

Comr. Onoriode expressed displeasure over what he described as a gang up against an innocent Deltan whose credentials intimidates political rivals.

He also advised the police to desist from taking side with false accusers by making moves to arrest Gbagi on the grounds of unproven allegations, he further said, “I am afraid that there isn’t any evidence; there is just speculation and allegations as there is no proof that the concocted pictures were taken at the said hotel.”
