OMS: GROUP RAISES ALARM OVER LINGERING CRISIS IN FORCADOS, ESCRAVOS RIVERS, ALLEGES HOSA OKUNBOR BEING RESPONSIBLE_Coastal Times

A foremost Human Rights group in the Niger Delta, under the aegis of Ijaw Political Watchdogs. Has raised alarm over what it described as a lingering crisis in the Forcados and Escravos rivers, in Burutu and Warri South West Local Government Areas, both in Delta State.

The group, haven raised the alarm, accused Captain Hosa Okunbor, the CEO/Chairman Ocean Marine Solutions Limited, of being responsible.

The group therefore, called on security agencies to with immediate effect, arrest Captain Hosa Okunbor, as the group alleges he is responsible for the lingering crisis in the region.

The Rights group, made this call on Sunday the 21st June, 2020. Via a press release signed by it’s national President, Comrade Paul Akpowaide. Of which a copy was sent to coastal Times.

Comrade Akpowaide pointed out how Captain Hosa Okunbor’s Ocean Marine Solution Limited has sidelined the youths of both Forcados in Ogulagha kingdom, and Escravos in Gbaramatu, in the pipeline surveillance contract.

He further stressed that, Captain Okunbor, instead of giving to the youths of the region what is due them, has rather decided to shortchange the privileges and rights of the youths for his king’smen and choiced associates.

The statement reads:

“Nigeria security agencies should act very fast and arrest Captain HOSA OKUNBOR the CEO /Chairman of ocean marine solutions limited for causing More security crisis over pipeline surveillance jobs that is rightfully belong to the landlords for his personal gain .

Captain HOSA OKUNBOR is sponsoring gangs to fight against the benefits of the youths in that regions to kill them and this will lead to serious breakdown of Nigeria economic in the oil sectors .

The youths of that regions are fully ready for captain HOSA OKUNBOR for his EVIL PLANS against their rights .

Those who are behind such move should also be arrested for fueling More security crisis in the rivers.

Captain HOSA OKUNBOR should know that he can’t fight the youths in the creeks . You are Advised to redrawn your plans and go back to your River in Benin . You have no affiliation in FORCADOS RIVER IN BURUTU LGA AND ESCRAVOS RIVER IN WARRI SOUTH WEST LGA to take over pipeline surveillance jobs and maltreat the youths like slaves .

The chiefs of staff in Army ,Navy and Air force should be aware of the cry of the youths in that regions and the government is mute over it .
H.E president Muhammadu Buhari and inspector general of police is also giving deaf ears to the cry of the youths in the creeks over this pipeline surveillance jobs .
When the creeks will start boiling and bringing smokes no parastatas should portion blames on the youths and this is what is going to happen .

What oppression and lawless society we are in this Nigeria ?
Captain HOSA OKUNBOR doesn’t know his boundaries in terms of pipeline surveillance jobs.

EFCC and ICPC should carry out a serious investigation on captain HOSA OKUNBOR on his looting activities and sponsoring gangs”.
