NIGER DELTA PEACE AMBASSADOR AWARD: CHIEF FAVOUR IZOUKUMOR CONGRATULATES OTUARO, SAYS IT IS A WELL DESERVED AWARD_Coastal Times

The former commissioner representing Ijaw ethnic nationality in the board of DESOPADEC, Chief Favour Izoukumor has added his voice in congratulating the Deputy Governor of Delta state, Barr Kingsley Burutu Otuaro over his conferment has Niger Delta Peace Ambassador of 2019 by the Daily Independent Newspapers.

The Fiewei of Ogbe-Ijaw kingdom described Otuaro as a visionary and indefatigable leader whose commitment ‘to peace, security, and development will stand the test of time.’

Chief Izoukumor lauded the deputy governor for his consistency in advocating for peace in the Niger Delta region and beyond, which has culminated the award given him by Independent Newspapers.

He reiterated his trust and belief in Otuaro to remain resolute in the future in the pursuance of a peace and security in the region.

He wrote;

“I congratulate you, Your Excellency, Barr. (Dcn) Kingsley B. Otuaro, the visionary and indefatigable Deputy Governor of Delta State on the well-deserved honor from ’the Independent Newspapers as Peace Ambassador of the Niger Delta.’

“Your Excellency Sir, those of us who have worked closely with you, can affirm that your indelible contributions for peace, security, and development will stand the test of time.”

“I am delighted that you have continued to place your substantial wealth of experience as a peace advocate to aid the growth and progress of the development of Delta State and by extension to the Niger Delta which has culminated in the honor bestowed on you by the Independent Newspapers.”

“I have no doubt in my mind that you will continue to consolidate on your landmark achievements in peace and conflict resolution for the total restoration of peace and Security to Niger Delta and Nigeria at large.”
