BURUTU_____ Jubilation as Mr. Churchill Dose emerged winner of the elections conducted on Monday the 23rd, December, 2019, in Sokebolou community, Burutu Local Government Area, Delta State.

Sokebolou community in Burutu local government area of Delta State, had on Monday the 23rd December, 2019. Conducted an election, in order to change the administration in the community.

The election which was conducted in a delegate form, had three main contestants for the position of the chairman, with Mr. Churchill Dose emerging as the winner.

Immediately after every electoral process was put in place, and voting concluded. It was announced by the electoral committee, after carefully counting the total number of votes casted, that, Mr Churchill Dose Pulled a total of 17 Votes. While Mr. Believe Anunu pulled a total of 6 votes, and Mr. Daniel Igere, pulled a total of 6 votes, with one ( 1 ) vote been void, making Mr. Churchill Dose the winner. The total number of accredited voters was 30.

After the results was announced, a correspondent of the COASTAL TIME REPORT NEWS, had the privilege of interviewing Mr. Churchill Dose the chairman elect.

In his words, Mr. Churchill appreciated the good people of Sokebolou community for having faith in him, thereby voting for him in the election. He therefore, assured the people of the community that he will do is very best in attracting more development to the community, and further sustain the integrity and national image of the community.

It reads: I feel very happy today been elected as the SOKEBOLOU COMMMUNITY Chairman. And
I thank God for the victory .

I want to thank all the people of SOKEBOLOU COMMMUNITY for believing in me, by giving me their votes. And I promise that I will not let them down.

I want to specially thank all the delegates who voted for me to emerge as the Chairman.

I Thank all the youths, women and everyone else who stood by me within this period.

I also want to heartily thank the SOKEBOLOU COMMMUNITY Chiefs, who stood by me during and after the election. I say God bless you

To my fellow contestants, we are all winners, and we will all work together as a team, for the growth of our community.

I therefore assure the people of Sokebolou community that, i will operate an open door policy, which will give room to the people in order to make meaningful contributions for the overall benefit of the community.

Lastly, I want to thank God Almighty who made this whole thing a success for me. And I ask that he give me the grace and enablement to lead the community to the desired destination.
